Library and E-Granthalaya
The library plays a vital role in the search for knowledge. It is the soul of the entire College –
students and faculty alike. The aim of the college is to support the teaching-learning activity
and also to update the students’ knowledge and provide the maximum utilization of the
available resources. Our mission is which itself indicates the significance of the Library in
the College environment.
The library is situated on the top floor of the college wing. It occupies about 1219.43 sq. ft.
and can accommodate about 50 students at a time. The library is provided with proper
ventilation, lighting & fans. This learning resource centre will be renovated in the year 2023.
- Library is fully computerized with the implementation of E-Granthalaya
along with the Bar code system.
- The library provides access to students for, e-books.
- Students can access e-books.
- Library card is given to the students at the time of admission to borrow
textbooks, General books & Periodicals.
- Open access is offered to the library's collection.
- Inter–library lending.
- Regular display of new arrivals in the library; Newspaper cuttings on Career
guidance, and current topics.
- Free Internet access (4 G) to students and staff. A separate hub for internet
access is installed in the library.
- Books are purchased on the recommendation of Staff and Students.
- The library sends its staff for training to upgrade them.
- At the circulation counter, two computers, one wireless bar-code reader and a
bar-code printer are available for the ease of a computerized circulation system.
- Books are also purchased through various grants by the government as well as
by the charity and kept in separate cupboards purchased under the grant.
- A Photocopy machine is also available in the library.
- Librarian’s cabin is equipped with one computer and one all-in-one printer
scanner and copier machine.
- Timings for the library are from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on working days.
- The students will be issued three books at a time.

Granthalaya is managed, maintained and updated in-house by Librarian.
