Government Degree College, Pabau (GDC), was established on 23 July, 2018. It is situated at the bank of Western Nayyar. The origination of the river is from Dudhtoli range and confluences with Eastern Nayyar at Satpuli, Pauri Garhwal. Our college is 28 kilometers far from the district headquarter i.e Pauri Garhwal. Khirsu, which is very famous place for tourist attraction in Garhwal, is 20 KM far from the college. The place is surrounded with panoramic view. It is also near to Paithani which has a very ancient and alluring temple known as “Rahu Mandir”. The latitude and longitude of Pabau is 30.100695 and 78.874085 respectively. Pabau is far famed due to its market which is called as Pabau Bazaar. It is located in the of centre three sides. Therefore, it becomes the junction point for trading.

This college started functioning on July 23, 2018. Since its inception, it is one of the full-fledged constituent colleges of the Sri Dev Suman University imparting knowledge in Commerce and Humanities to more than 155 students in the current year which is thrice at the time of opening. College had the strength of 54 students at the time of inception. Vocational courses are also offered to students. The College has been in the news for its various academic and co-curricular activities like academic achievements of Students and Teachers, Innovation Projects, Sports Department, and NCC.
