Sports



Sports can teach lessons about social changes and it involves development of basic human skills. Today, the sport has emerged as an important component of socio-economic development of a community. The active participation in sports improves community health and productivity, reduces medical expenses, imbibes discipline in character and enhances social cohesion.
Through sports, students develop team spirit, leadership quality as well as ability to handle psychological and physical pressure tactics. Sports can bring positive results to students’ physical health and well being. Our College is conducting various energetic and heath- oriented sports activities in every academic calendar and provide them opportunities to fulfill their dreams. Following are the major sports activities which our college conducts:
  • Race (100, 200, 400, meters).
  • Shot- Put, Disc Throw, Javelin.
  • Chess
  • Kabaddi
  • Kho-Kho
  • High Jump, Long Jump
